Forbes Under 30 Scholar
Award – Sept 2019
A competitive scholarship offering to attend the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 Conference in Detroit, Michgan. Thousands of students from across the world submitted their resume and two detailed, scholarship essays outlining their leadership skills and passion for community activism. A small fraction of the applicants were chosen to receive free registration for the conference and the title Forbes Under 30 Scholar”.
Warhawk Ambassador – UWW

A premier volunteer position for students at UW-Whitewater. A Warhawk Ambassador’s job is to represent the University in a positive light to a variety of audiences while serving campus stakeholders and the surrounding communities.
Assistant district Director – Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.

The Assistant District Director (ADD) for the District of Wisconsin is the highest-ranking, state-appointed position in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The ADD represents the District of Wisconsin at all events at home and abroad. Other duties include but are not limited to: planning the annual district conference, ensuring each chapter is compliant and comprehends all fraternal practices and bylaws, enhancing communication between college and alumni brothers.

The chapter secretary is responsible for all meeting minutes. Including dispersing them to local and district-level stakeholders. Also, he is responsible for all written communication sent/received for the chapter.

The treasurer is the first line of defense to overspending by the chapter. Creating event budgets, and tracking revenues and expenses for a 5-figure budget. Also, forecasting the chapter budget for the next calendar year.
Treasurer – Black Student Union

Administratively, the Treasurer’s role consists of creating event budgets, and tracking revenues and expenses for a 5-figure budget. Additionally, all members of the Black Student Union (BSU) Executive Team assisted campus administration with mitigating racial conflicts i.e. hosting community-conversations, organizing meetings between campus admin and students, and delivering a list of greivances and resolutions reflecting the student-poulation’s action items for change.
